Yanmar diesel inboard

Hi all,

just putting the feelers out to see if anyone has any recommendations for putting together/checking/fitting and rigging a Yanmar inboard. Preferably in the Norfolk Suffolk area.

Cheers for now.

Ian

Thanks, getting a lot of recommendations for Frenches, via Facebook too.
I’ve been in touch, they have suggested they prefer not to work on engines that have been taken apart, but I’ll send some pics and see what they say. Fingers crossed.

Cheers
Ian

Frenches, won't work on engines that have been partially taken apart.
Chatting to Marine engines in Lancashire, anyone know anything about them.

Cheers

Have you tried Dave Crawford marine? They used to be big into yanmar & really knew their stuff. Gotta be really careful who builds those engines as there not straightforward & need good attention to detail

RIBase
Simon Dann may be an option. He operates as mongersdelight on Ebay. He fits quite a few Yanmars to Halmatic Pacific RIB's.

Graham Cox ("yam man" on here) did a lot of the harder jobs on my Yanmar 6LP and knows the Yanmars inside out. He's based in Southampton, but did used to travel around for larger jobs.
