Tinker because I clicked on this Yamaha 15 2T on Ebay the seller has sent an offer for £1300 which is getting on the way towards where it should be. Note a 2018 so 12yrs less age related issues than the last of the generally on sale ones. I don't know of the seller and I have some condition concerns such as the beat up cowl which can indicate a general lack of care for the motor.

Cheers, Had a look at that, cracked case is a bit off putting, seems to have some corrosion on the oqne side of the block so reckon it may have been like it for some time. I will just wait until a better one comes along.

There certainly needs to be a fixing for the fuel tank. Perhaps glueing on some rings to the floor for a strap.

Also I think it might help if I put the outboard in a hole.

I have been so busy this trip with other boats that I have not had much time to experiment but will do so later in the year hopefully.

As for cavitation in the turns there was a little but not a lot.

Having got the boatworld cat. I would deffo say this is the better one on several levels and it is half the price.

Look like great craic anyway and you can't beat how cheap they are. I wish they did one a little longer.
