My New Rib - Valiant V5.20 with 70HP Suzuki 4 Stroke

Valiant V520 RIB, 2003, hardly used since new, completely unused and stored inside a barn since September 2006. White GRP hull, white PVC tubes with grey rubbing strake, teak-effect decking, Valiant S5 console with S5 backrest seat. Stainless steel folding A-Frame (double hoop) complete with navigation lights. 43 litre fuel tank (under bench seat), with fuel/water separating filter.

Suzuki DF70 4-stroke engine, 2003, very low hours (only 77 hours' use), professionally serviced & winterised by Seamark Nunn in September 2006 and unused since then. Electric start, power trim & tilt, single lever control box, brand new 12v gel battery just fitted.

Streamine rollercoaster trailer (unbraked) complete with bow winch & jockey wheel. 2 x webbing tie-down ratchet straps.

Extras include ice chest with cushion (provides extra seating forward of steering console), Silva VHF radio with V-Tronix RibRaider helical antenna, Eagle combo fishfinder/GPS, Sony Radio/CD with weatherproof cover, Sony weatherproof speakers fitted to console, Compass. Valiant overall boat cover (white PVC) with elasticised waist and tie-downs.

All in excellent condition.

they wanted £9500! but i managed to get it for £8750! so im happy with that, its absolutely mint condition, will get some pics up this weekend once i collect it, should be a good step up from my old rib which was a Valiant 3.80m with a 25hp Mercury!

Well done

That sounds like a cracking buy. I hope you enjoy it and use it lots this summer.
They handle very well in a safe and predictabble mannor, which is ideal for family outings.

Regards

We'd also like to know how the skeg & prop lost so much paint in only 77 hours. Was the boat previously used as a dredger?
