Ribcraft 750 Sport views??

I am looking to purchase a Ribcraft 750 sport with an Evinrude E-Tec 200, does anyone have any views on this boat? Good or bad?!

If you own a ribcraft what are your views on the customer service any good?

Hi Chris,

We took delivery of a 750 Sport in June. With the weather being less than summery we have not been out as much as we wanted and have only put on around 20 hours since then but so far, so good! We are still learning but now really getting to grips with the handling which is great fun.

The build quality is excellent - no question - and the engine (Suzuki 250hp) is superb. Nothing has dropped off or broken and the boat feels solid when out in messy, choppy waters.

The guys at Ribcraft deserve much credit for their customer service in an industry that doesn't always sparkle in that area and I have found them responsive and pro-active. Curently having issues trying to get the engine to talk to the Garmin plotter which causing a bit of a headache at both Garmin and Ribcraft but I feel confident that they will sort it out.

We've not had a Ribcraft before but would have no hesitation recommending them. Happy hunting!

went out on one at ribex, we had not long come in on red jet and its the first time ive ever felt her slam! The lad that took us out on 750 was a loon and had no idea where the brambles were but i was very impressed with the ride and it landed form bein airborne very well

I have a 750 Sport with a Suzuki 250 on the back and am seriously happy with her.

Similar to RJH, I've had excellent service from Ribcraft to date.

Their aftersales is superb

No direct experience of the 750 Sport - but Ribcraft build quality is excellent.

Still continuing our search! But having spoken to a great number of people everyone seems to keep saying buy the Ribcraft! Had a go yesterday with a 175, 200, 250 E-TECH all of which for amazing on the 7 meter Rib we where trying. I think for the Ribcraft 750 the 200hp would be perfect for what we intend to use the boat for!

Any useful advice on what accessories would be a good investment i.e. Chart plotters, Radar?? The furthest I would intend on going is to France!

I was also going to ask about what when we are on a Demo we should look out for as on Ribs I have no experience!

Very hard to knock Ribraft. Not always the prettiest, but very good in every department. The options list can be a bit BMW, in that you'll pay 'top dollar' for additional gear. Rbcraft know that they have a good product and a full order book, so they don't have to sell 'em cheap.
