Hysucat 6.5

I am thinking of buying one of these 2005 model but have some concern that they can be 'wet' boats. Does anyone have any views?

It was my understanding that the 6.5 was a great boat and not a wet ride. I know a few people who've owned or used them and they all rave about the soft ride.

The best way is to go for a test drive and see what you think.

Cheers

Mark

We'll find out soon enough.
Yep it was from one of those threads that I picked up the issue of them being wet. Not stuffing the nose, but throwing up a lot of spray.
Thanks
George

I own a HYSUCAT 6.5. They are very dry boats. They come in single and twin engines. Suggest no more than total HP 150. Very economical. I run my boat with twin 50hp Honda engines for 5 hours on just 10 gals of fuel. Great in rough water in chop up to 2ft and medium swells. It is counter intuitive. You need to speed up in rough water, not slow down as with most monohulls. Very soft ride. I would never go back to deep vee monohulls!
