Barnet Marine.

As some of you know I was after a console for my SR5.4, I spoke to a few people and some one mentioned Laurance from Barnet marine.
My "2nds" console arrived a few days ago and was very well packed. I got it for an excellent price and postage was more than reasonable.
Laurance sent lots of photos and dimensions before I parted with any money. All in all excellent service.

Thanks

Phill

Barmett Marine

Yes, I always found Laurence to be one of the good guys when I was dealing with him. Even after I had parted with money

I'll post some tonight. They are on my email and I can't get it at work. Its got a couple of chips on it but for £150 you can't complain.

I spoke to Humber and they wanted £500 for a seconds one!

Yep. I'd agree with that. Very helpful prior to and after sale.

I've only got the tubes taken off so far. The deck needs prepping, think I might do what you did and use a grinder with a wire wheel.
Transom knees are on they way so just need some good weather now.

It is a shiny shiny thing, apparently its been used as a bench in the house at the moment and is comfy without the seat!

I've got some photos of the marks on it which Laurance sent, I'll post these tonight as after doing 3 pics when I got in I'd had enough.

I've just realised I've got the same one. It came with the boat and needs fitting. Just searching for a good price for some foam to be cut as BM want £95.
Mine will have to be painted and a GRP repair where it's chipped.

You can fit a rectangular cushion though - check out other XS ribs.

Oh it's very good and I imagine the former owner got it for a good price too.It has dark streaks in it though, which will need to be covered. I'm getting in some more flow coat soon to do the whole hull so will use it on the console too and buff.

I'm home Thursday so will try and post some photos.
The seat just over hangs where it tapers, not by much though. I should really fill the chips in mine but I think it'll be fine how it is!
