Parker 630 Cabin

Here are a few shots of the first of three Paker 630 Cabin ribs handed over this week to the Polish Police. These 630 ribs have been much upgraded and are now fitted with the latest Mercury Verado 4 cyl 200 HP o/board engine.
These cabin ribs are mainly used on lakes and rivers for patrol, rescue and catching poachers.
Max speed 42 knots with a two man crew.

I always thought that a cabin on such a small RIB wouldn't work because of the internal size of the boat, glad you proved me wrong Andre. If I may say so, it's quite pleasing on the eye too.

Well done!

Some interior pictures would be nice. I noticed that the Parker website doesn't show the pictures of the larger cabin boats either, which is a pity. It certainly looks like a great rib, neat cabin and lots of deck space. What are the white platforms on the ransom - access steps?

Point taken. I will add some to the website next week

the white platforms are to provide easy access to the tilted up engine should the prop need to be cleared etc and engine service / inspection

we also do a diesel version but you then don't have that much deck space

Last year I had the opportunity of a ride in one of the Police Parker 630 Cabin ribs . and before you ask - no I was not arrested for speeding. This was on a lake and it was quite a cold day. The webasto heater was great. One just wanted to stay inside the cabin. I was also pleasantly suprised by the good ride the rib produced.

Looks good Andre, it appears that the cabin is completely seperate from the tubes (or is that just the pic?), was that done for any particular reason?

The cabin is completely seperate from the tubes. This is typical for our cabins on the 630, 750RS and 900/1000 Baltic.
This gives you a rigid walkway to the bow and back without having to walk along the tubes
