Which paint for the hull?

Evening all,

Have a new project and might want to change the colour of the hull, what paints are best for this?
I'm wanting grey but didn't know whether flow coat or some sort of polyureathane? The RIB will kept on its trailer rather than a mooring.
Answers on a fiver to the usual address.

Awlgrip is one the better known epoxy paint systems used for grp hulls, impresssive finish to it when done right. No idea of price but I could probably take a good guess...

I used 2 part international 'perfection' on my RIB when I painted it. Came out really well and went from grey/orange to white. Another guy did his searider on here with similar results.

Cheers for that, depending on how good the hull is I may leave it orange, if it has a few dings which most seariders do then I'll fill and repaint it.

I have painted a couple of boats with Hempel Poly Best, A two comp polyurethane topcoat.

Good finish and pretty durable. Think its pretty much the same stuff as international perfection. I would use a epoxy primer before applying the topcoat on, especially if changing color on the hull.

If I ever get the time for refurbing(between all the snow cleaning ....) my SR, will use either International or Hempel polyurethane topcoat.

I don't know is the Blakes Hempel same paint as Hempel but suppose it is.

OK pot life ( 1-2 +-hours pending temp) and when cured, its very strong. Not fun to sand down in case not careful with the putty knife but there is time enough to work so not much of an issue. Smells like S*** before cured, but all the good stuff do?
