Yamaha Lower Unit Removal

I am trying to remove the lower unit on a Yamaha 40. I have removed the 4 main bolts, the anode bolt and the gear box linkage and it still won't budge. Am I missing anything or is it just a case of using some "gentle persuasion" to free the drive shaft?
