You could try HMP Slade, ask for Harry Grout.

Why not just post them here? Is it secret information?

John

Could just be Paul respects his customers confidentiality????

He obviously makes tubes for them because I spotted some of his/their boats on a lorry at the M5 services not long ago - pretty impressive too!!!

Crompton

Unusualy we took in a cropmton last year.

Many many calls for vessel history and coding info were made to Crompton with no reply.

The vessel was untraceable from our exhaustive calls to them and various authorities that may have dealt with them.

This of course does not mean that the vessel was not authentic but after so much effort we decided to pass the vessel to a professional dealer.

In my opinion the vessel seemed to be well found, though unusual lines/bow sheer but did have an unusual history with 50 odd hours on the clock but 5 years old and fitted with a blue flashing light !!

Our conclusions

1. This is the first and last second hand plus non Humber boat we will ever deal with.
2. I am led to belive that the company has experienced some "difficulties" but is possibly about to start trading again. In that case good luck as we can all suffer from problems but why in the meantime not have contact numbers or some help for existing boats ?
3. We would not be in a possition to recomend Crompton at all.

Cheers

John

Maybe, but most companies in the business of selling things don't make their contact details confidential!

John

They do when they have Crompton's recent history!!!! Obviously the company has had to be restructured somewhat!!!

firstly codprawn is correct i dont think it is right to give Neil Davisons mobile number to all and sundry secondly i did give Neil a call when Pedro first started to make enquiries and passed Neils number on to Pedro who does not seem to have made use of it , or given any contact details apart from an email address .Can pedro really be serious ?? Cromptons are still in production with both Henshaws and myself making and fitting tubes for them , they collected a 12.7mtr today and hopefully will be doing more in the future
