Anyone know where I can source spin on Water seperating Fuel Filters?

The mercury part number is 35-60494-1

Or Sierra mercury replacement 18-7844

A supply local to Pompey would be useful.

Oh, and as usual, must be cheap.

Hi, thats the trouble with Keith, I'm away all week, or at least an hour away at the office, and he's not around at the weekends.

I know he's available on his mobile, and he's always very helpful on the phone, but I've never managed to buy anything from him because I can't be there by 5pm during the week.

The cheap long term option is to use a diesel CAV filter which has the added advantage you can see the fuel and any water in the filter through the glass section. They are available from Panda fuel Injection, just past Sainsburys in Fareham at £37. Replacement cartridges are £3 each. The CAV 196 filter is a very fine one and the 252 cartridge courser. Although they are not designed for petrol I have never had a problem and they have stopped water from getting into the engine particularly when the boat is being filled by jerry cans.
