1000 lumen torch - Costco
£15 ish in the warehouse including 3 D cells.
http://www.costco.co.uk/view/product/uk_ca...1.5/166262
Flood and spot via a zoom.
Got sent this link and picked one up and for the money it seems brilliant. It has various modes 1000, 500, 250 lumens SOS and strobe. Very white light from 4 leds and good reach.
Only downside I can see is its a very square beam at full focus with 'crosshair' affect (i.e. looks like a group of 4 squares). Back off focus a bit and its fine. With 3 D Cells included this well made, known brand torch on its own is effectively about a tenner. Cracking buy for those who want a powerful torch without spending too much

Link's not quite worked there. I'm getting a "page not found" error.
Pun intended?

Costco UK - Feit High Power Ultra Bright 1,000 Lumens Flashlight
That is the same brand they sell here in the USA. I have a few of their LED bulbs, that work okay, but don't fit into my light housing *shrugs*

Still a damn good bit of kit for the money though and very very useful.

Yeah! thought that myself I have the bigger T6 as well it's a lot brighter than that one didn't pay much for either of the torches think the battery's cost more & as you say they are a cracking bit of kit👍
