Are these directly interchangeable with the ECU of a 75 Opti?

I could look into it for you, as I know it is the same block. I bought it to try and fix an unknown problem with my engine, I ended up breaking the engine for parts. And keeping the ECU which works out better to sell seperate.

I wondered whether there were any other differences between the 75 & 115 Optis.

Not as far as I know, I know the 75 mariner is the best power ratio to hp as it has been massivly down rated. It is the same block as the 115hp. I am not sure if it is purely the ECU that is different. If it is wow what a big difference for a small price

I'm sure I've read somewhere you can simply swap ECU's to change hp on an opti if they're of the same block. Hence why they're so expensive, to discourage people from not buying the bigger motor.

The 75 and 90 opti are a pcm change (I think) but there are differences with the 115, the throttle body is different and may be other parts but never checked it out. the block and most parts are the same.

The 115 Opti has different porting in the block, inlets are different as well. It will run like a bag of crap if you put that on a 75/90 Opti i tried it once at work!
