I'm on the lookout for a 15hp short shaft 2-stroke outboard, preferably a Yamaha but I wouldn't rule out something else.
Doesn't need to be in showroom condition but does need to be sound and no more than 10 years old.
I've got a budget of up to £1000, maybe a little more for a really good one.

I'd like the same thing, but would need to take a '0' off your budget

PM sent
The EBay one is on my watch list. I've had a couple of others offered but they were rather shinier and pricier than I'm looking for. I don't want to pay a premium for an unmarked cowling because it won't stay that way!

See the Ebay engine was pulled from auction and the starting price moved to £5k! Strange?
"Item temporarily withdrawn due to unexpected business, out of country at time of auction end. Will re-advertise on return."

Try this - might be a good deal to buy the package and sell on the boat etc:
eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
