2005 Tohatsu 25hp 2 Stroke Outboard

2005 Tohatsu 25hp 2 Stroke Outboard. Short Shaft, tiller control. Serviced ready to go.

These are quite simply one of the best 2 strokes on the planet. Its power to weight ratio beats all of its competitors hands down, making it highly desirable for use as a portable engine, such as for use on inflatables etc.

This particular model is in excellent mechanical & cosmetic condition. Lightly used as tender on a Bonwitco boat. It starts easy, pumps water strong and engages gears smooth.

UK DELIVERY CAN BE ARRANGED

£1,350

We got it in cheaper, so it goes out cheaper, with 3 mths warranty of course!

I'm happy to hike the price up if it lowers your concerns on risk.

Out of interest, how much would you expect it should be at ?

My mariner 15 flew out the door at £1250 got sick of all the phone calls in the end, but wished I had 10 of them.

Looks a nice motor. Is it similar to the Mariner built engines. I have a 15hp Mariner with twist grip gear change on my 3.8 quicksilver which is great with 2 up but wouldn't mind a bit extra umph.
Nice day in the Camel today hope we can get out a few more times this year if I can find a fellow Siber I would like to venture a little bit out from the Estuary.

Well I'm a newbie and so can only base it on what I paid for my 2001 Mercury 15hp - but this seems cheap, but then I don't know how Mercury and Tohatsu compare?

Well if it was badged as Mercury, it'd be the same engine as both are identical, being built by Tohatsu.
