2015 Yamaha Enduro 40hp long shaft

Hi

Yamaha Enduro 40hp long shaft - 2015.

Selling as was going to use this on a Dory which I am no longer keeping, so I don't need it anymore.

In great condition and lightly used, as can be seen from the photos.

Recently serviced (circa 10 hours use since service) and in addition to the usual service items had a new fuel pump.

This is on a tiller at present, but can be converted to remotes.

Although not available in the UK and commercial spec, the required parts to convert to remotes can be bought in the UK.

These are great engines with minimal electrics to go wrong.

Info from Yamaha website -

"This is the two stroke outboard motor series developed mainly for commercial use such as on fishing and passenger vessels. This series suits harsh conditions that include everyday use and situations involving long hours of continuous operation.
Enhanced strength and durability in locations such as roller bearings, crankshaft and cylinder block, as well as an improved water pump that ensures plenty of cooling effect, combine to deliver substantial improvements in durability and reliability."

£1,600.

Please do let me know if have any questions, or would like to have a look.

Thanks

Hartley

Love those engines! They are awesome and last forever. They would sell for twice that here in the US. I’m sure it won’t last long!

I picked up 4 of them a few years back from the government. I had people calling from all over wanting one.

Agreed, they are great engines. I don’t really want to sell it, but don’t have a use for it in the foreseeable future either so hopefully it can find a good home.

If you fog it and store it, the carb will last and fire right up… even 5 years down the road. These engines are very hard to find unless you’re in South America. If you plan on getting back on the water, it can’t hurt to keep it.

Just my two cents…
