3 1/2 ton trailer
I've got this german 31/2 ton trailer for sale. I've had a 745 and 850 on it with plenty more room to go. I want £1850 for it

Been ask for sizes. It's 8.6 metres with the rear swinging beam fully back. So I'm reckoning a 10 metre will go on it

Hi Biff
Could you give me an idea of the length from the hitch to the trailer board?
Regards
Steve

The trailer from hitch to the rear roller is 8.6. There is extending arms for light board

Hi, I am after a trailer to store a maxum 2700 on, not sure if this is big enough, would take the weight etc, can you advise? Also, where is the trailer located and what hitch does it have, thanks mike

Google says it's got a beam of 2,59m (length 28.1ft or 8.8m) and a dry weight of 2,900 kgs - going on base specs it should fit just for storage. Towing I'd suggest double checking the measurements

Should go on it ok. Normal hitch. It's in swanwick. Southampton. If you're local we can try it

hiya, thanks for reply, the boat is in holyhead, really need to be sure because it may need to be towed on road as well and I do know that maxum is maximum size boat to be legally towed, I did have a trailer for it but some B-----d thought they had a better use for it!!

It's a grey area about towing something that size but if Pete is right with his size and weights you will have half a ton to spare and as the trailer is 8.6 m overall you will only have 8 inch overhang at the back

That's what google says not me I'm assuming 3.5t all up - I'm guessing the trailer will take up the difference putting it on the limit ?

Yes Pete you're probaly right. That makes the trailer legal with the boat on it. Until you attach a car too it. Some of the big 4x4s and large vans are rated at 3.5 tonnes. It is a grey area but honestly. If it looks right you can usually get away with it. Having a 6 wheel trailer under a boat looks proper

I think it will fit and I'd tow it if I had the right towing 4x4 hooked up to it. At the end of the day it's a lot of boat to tow and if your going to I'd say this trailer is as good as you will find to fit the boat. Great price too
