For sale: 1996 top of the range 3rd Generation Toyota Surf 4x4. 3 litre turbo diesel in dark blue over silver. Excellent condition. Approx 133000 miles. Rear spoiler with electric drop down mirror, 'a' bar, 6 speaker CD radio, electric sunroof, twin airbags, factory barometer/compass, air con, rear passenger heater, good tyres, tow bar and electrics (never towed). Just spent over £1000 with receipts. New timing, fully professionally rebuilt head using genuine parts (rear heater hose failed causing loss of coolant), new thermostat, new belts, new silicone intake pipe, new twin Toyota genuine batteries, new rear heater pipes, new mats, full service and oil change all round, very recent front discs, refurbished alloy wheels, full 12 months MOT. This vehicle is stunning. I rather like my Surfs and am tempted to keep it myself but I already have one! I purchased this as a project and have meticulously repaired it and made sure it is going to give plenty of reliable service.
I have not cut corners as any inspection will show!
At this mileage it is still very low and these vehicles (based on a Hilux) have a reputation second to none.
There is nothing but a tiny bit of surface rust underneath, with the majority of the original paint still intact. What rust there was has been removed, treated and painted with Hammerite and then a top coat.

It has the selectable four wheel drive with low range and has a smooth auto box.

There is nothing that needs doing to this vehicle!
