Tim, a lucky escape then many haven't been quite so fortunate however to be fair Johnny boys is in business and like all businesses it has to make money (by buying cheap and selling for a good profit). For example a big blue and white Avenger rib that was for Sale by Essex Boat yards for £10k and in need of a refit appeared on his web site 3 days later with a big Opti and a £20k price tag. Given he has a connection to grey imports he certainly didn't pay the going rate for the Opti but stood to make a good profit if he could sell the boat. Interestingly its now gone from his web site, sold perhaps ?

I think Stu was referring to someone else with the initials JW.

So I have Fill down for a pair of scruffy 60s Yams or Suzi, although at that age it won't make much difference as they will all fizz due to corrosion and stuart for a seagull get you home engine(espcially after last Saturday).

Be nice to Johnny Boys ...

I have just bought a mini Rib from him "Rhino Rider" 2.2 meters, with a 25 HP Mercury on it.

When it arrived the seat was cut, and the freight insurance didn't what to pay for it, but Johnny Boys replaced it without cost.
