I really think you need at least 2 though and get 20 mins running time instead of 10

You should slow charge the packs at least the first two charges before fast charging. I'm going to a car boot sale for RC models tomorrow. Do you want me to keep an eye out for a fast charger for you? There are some good deals on Ebay though and have just bought a fully programmable/automatic charger that runs off of 240v or 12v for £35
Like this one. Link

Tamiya's from the past. Still wish I had my original Rough Rider.
Just bought myself an electric R/C aircraft for flying indoors or outside on very calm days, great fun. Must get round to finishing off the model of the Parker

I've had a couple of different Tamiyas over the years, but I wouldn't call them classics which everyone else says they are. I used to own a Kyosho Optima Mid buggy, good examples of these are being sold at silly prices, much more than they cost 20 odd years ago.

I think I may be about to sell my collection of RC toys-I've got too many projects and I'll never manage to do them all along with the garge full of bikes...

Have you still got any of these, would love 1 or 2! - i am currently trying to get hold of a 7.2v to power up my beloved Tamiya Superchamp which i found after 20 years.
Do they have the hump?
Also need a charger suitable, got the old Acoms fast charger but it hasnt been plugged in for 20 years and may not be the best idea to use on a new battery.
