Hi there

I have one 75hp Mercury 2 stroke. Blackmax model. Maybe 1993. Runs great but currently won't tilt up or down.

I've not looked into why yet as I don't have the time. Bought it from RAIDER UK BOATS from the Managing Directer John, who told it it was working fully....Thanks John

It owes me £795.

If I repaired it I'd sell it for £1250 but I'd be happy to get my money back on it if somebody wanted to take it off my hands. Comes with control box.

Best case it needs new brushes in the PTT MOTOR which cost about £30. Worst case a replacement PTT system can be sourced on eBay for around £150-£250

Any good ?

There's a (2008) 75hp Optimax at Caley Marina: Mariner 75 HP Optimax 2008 for Sale - Inverness, Highlands boat brokerage

A (2001) Yamaha 90hp 2-stroke, and a Honda 75hp and 90hp, all long-shaft at Outboard Services (Isle of Man): Outboard Marine Services
