Ambar tubes for sale......
I have a set of used, ex-military poly tubes that I'm told will fit an Ambar 550. They are fully inflatable, without a foam inner core as found on some Ambar models - when I contacted Wing they said they probably made them. They appear to be in overall good condition with slight wear marks - no obvious damage but there is a slow leak somewhere (perhaps valve) that I haven't tried to locate. There are no ID numbers, logos or other manufacturer's markings on the tubes so can't provide further details on which boat they were made for, but when I sent the info to Ambar they said they looked correct for the 550. They are about 16' long and 14" in diameter. Located in Iowa, USA. Will probably offer them on eBay soon but thought I would see if anyone here has an interest first. If you can use them please let me know and I can forward more pictures and measurements if desired.
