Any free bits and pieces for a boat

Just splashed the cash on my first boat and
I am in desperate need of anything that anyone has lying around that they don't need that could benefit my boat alot. Any offers would be greatly appreciated as I want to get this boat out before the season is over!

Post what boat you have bought and what area in the country you are, you may find others have some bits they are happy to give away if they are lying about unused / second hand.

Couldn't agree more.

Arriving on a site like this asking for free stuff without even telling people who you are or what boat you've brought is bound to create the sort of reaction you've had.

Be a little more polite about your requirements, and join in with the community and you'll find people on here very helpful.

Nasher.

I've decided that my job is a bit boring and I'd like not to have to do it any more. I wondered if anyone here would consider chipping in with my mortgage and the school fees?

Account number and sort-code available on request.

Thanks in advance
Hugh

Is it the bad weather here in the UK that is making people grumpy and unkind to fellow boaters ?

Bongo15, put a picture of your boat up and info of what area you are in, personally ive got some bits and pieces that might be useful but depends where you live with regard to practicalities.

has zero to do with the weather.

if a person comes on and first real post is begging for bits then he can expect no less. how do we know "our" stuff is not destined for ebay?!?

these are rough times for most and i'd HAPPILY give away my un-used stuff but i expect it to be to a member who has been interested for a while or atleast makes an effort to fill out their profile and post some info/pics on their setup.

cheers

He's not the Messiah, he's a Very Naughty Boy!

...on account of how he's been telling porkies about his age.
