I am looking to replace the tubes on my 5.4m searider as well. they are 33 years old and a bit leaky... anyone have any ideas? I am also thinking of putting in bladders? Does anyone have experience with those?

I'm not sure where you were planning to source your 'bladders' but the only people I am aware of who routinely supply this as a solution are Gemini Industries - a search on here will probably answer your question! Failing that there have been discussions here before - but you might need to search for 'inner tubes' rather than 'bladders'

Wow, thanks for the info! I am glad I searched Gemini in the thread, doesn't sound like a good idea to try them out :o)
I think I'll keep my tubes going a little while with repairs, and save up some money for a proper retube...
Has anyone recommendations for a place to do it in Southern California?
