Wanted: Backrest Cushions

I'm looking to buy two standard backrest cushions for my ribcraft if anyone has any for sale? Got the stainless steel frames, just need to replace the knackered cushions.

Other than Ribcraft does anywhere else sell compatible cushions?

have a look on humber ribs site they sometimes have offers on stuff like that i'm not sure but i think its rib world where they sell boats off etc

Do you still have the back boards? If so, why not have them reupholstered, Loui at Quayside will do a good job. If you don’t have the boards, it wouldn’t be a big job to make some. That said, by the time you’ve buggered about, it might be as cheap to bite the bullet & go directly to Ribcraft.

Cheers Dave, yes I do but the backboards are ply and pretty mouldy. If I had any marine ply offcuts left I would make them myself but as you say by the time I buy some marine ply, replacement foam, material, etc I've rapidly cost myself more than getting someone to do a half decent job of it! Before I took a close look at them some local companies were wanting around £40 each for the re-upholstery alone. Whats the going rate for that elsewhere?

If you end up buying new, go for the plastic rot proof back boards.

Yep. Going to pick up some from Ribcraft directly. Their prices work out quite reasonable compared to many of the upholstery alone quotes ...and they have the plastic back boards.
