baystar hydraulic steering
mercury / mariner baystar hydraulic steering
having just upgraded my baystar steering system ( done 60 hours ) to seastar as i was getting chatter in the helm steering against prop torque i have for sale the full kit rated up to 150 hp but wasnt up to my 115 comand thrust id suggest will be fine for up to 90hp mercury / mariner. the steering ram is perfect the hoses 4.5 meter will need new olives for the helm end as it was easier to use a pipe cutter then pull the hoses .
the helm unit may be fine or may need a rebuild theirs a video on youtube looks fairly straight forward a new helm is about £400 .
i would like £200 plus any postage cost .
