Good point, where's our trade membership gone JK?
If it's up for renewal, let us know and we'll happily pay it

I was using one of these today that I got off eBay. I was using a 12v 10a battery with it. Had it going for 5 mins before it started producing smoke and shut off never to turn on again... A sad day for the Bravo BST12 HPP. And of course a sad day for my lost money.

Bravo BST 12 pump problems

My Bravo pump has been working well since I applied WD40 to the switch that clicks in when the low pressure ends and the high pump kicks in, but another problem it seems, has emerged.

When the high pressure pump kicks in, it wizzes around momentarily and then stops. I notice the electronics are rated inside to work on 14V, my battery when I measured it was only managing about 10.49V so I charged it up and it seemed to work again, momentarily. Unsure if the battery needs an overnight trickle charge or whether it is coincidence and the pumps is just a bit old or corroded from time on the shelf and when it all got wet on the first trip in the sea.

Any ideas? Also, sometimes the low pressure pump seems to cut out after about 10 seconds after not inflating much (as much as it usually does) not much at all, at all unless I hold down the ON button manually. Anyone had these problems? Perhaps it is a new pump, any ideas for a different model? I need 11.2PSI for the Bombard Aerotec 380 floor for sure.

Yes they are voltage sensitive. Even the longer extension cable I made for using the car battery will cause a voltage drop and odd operation.

Do you mean the LP pump changes to the HP pump too soon sometimes? This will happen with any restriction in the line... if you have the Zodiac gauge in line or if your valve adaptor is missing the crosspiece that hold the valve open.
