Business Opportunity wanted
Anyone know of any boatyard/Chandlery etc owners on the Solent looking to move on or get out soon?
The world of Tobacco has chewed me up and spat me out early (well it will come March), so I’m looking for investment opportunities in a small marine based business. Only moved company a few years ago, so no huge amounts of cash readily available without some planning.
Alternatively:-
Used and abused 38 year old Ribber, willing to prostitute himself to any industry willing to have him.
Can add up, read, write, and can be quite civil at times.
Can’t type and don’t make very good Tea.
Nasher.

Have you thought about instructing? Might be worth a look at.
I was always told that you shouldn't make your hobby your business.
Anyone want an established heating company in Surrey???

Shamrock Chandlery have just moved out from Hythe. Not sure what the score is, the building still advertised to let. I know Hythe Marina Watersports were looking!!
Hope this helps.

Stuart
Hi.
The Shogun is mine, the company car would be a Saab Convertable, nice but not a lot of good to a guy with a family and a boat to tow across the beach.
Think I know where you're coming from.
Ribald
I did think about the training idea, but I'd need to get my own qualifications up to scratch first.
Pressman
Following up on that one, thanks
Thanks for all the PM's, I'm at home tonight, so will get around to answering them all then.
Nasher.

if you want to talk about it come over and I will spare you an afternoon, I personally wouldn't recomend doing it unless you are happy to decimate your income stream and improve your quality of life.
I have gone through the process myself and I have to be honest I do miss Kvaernes money falling into my bank account every month even tough I don't have to kiss corporate arse
good luck with whatever you decide to do
