Where were you thinking about going ,,just that in some popular southern areas of the uk a company called stanfords used to produce some papar charts for yachties ,,think most yachtie chandelers stock them , best are the admiraly though ,i used to get mine posted from kelvin Hughes at Glasgow,,came in a really impotant looking tube with ,,SHIPS STORES in transit stuck on it .
Would definately reccomend http://www.chartsales.co.uk/ "Marine Chart Services" , they do second hand, but corrected up to date, charts. £12.80 plus P&P for a second hand chart corrected up to date, or 9.25 if you fancy doing the corrections yourself off the admiralty website. Have ordered from them twice, and have been prompt and packaged well in cardboard tubes. Don't know how they compare on new charts though.
