Mini clear out continues
I have a complete electrical system to fit a Mariner 40hp 2 stroke. This is the Magnum 4 cyl model from around 1995. I know them all to be working. In fact I have the complete engine including gearbox, tilt, hood. The only thing missing is the powerhead. I have the carbs etc too. Ideally I'd like to sell the entire electrics together but may split if need be.
I fitted all the electrics/parts to another motor I had to test around a year ago. I made one from the two and kept all the other parts.
Here's some pics but these were taken a long time ago. Since then they've been moved around so no doubt I've lost some bits
I've also most of the electrics to it a 1996 Mariner 60hp 2 stroke. Advised as working came in with powerhead failure (crank marked).
Finally I've some parts from a Honda 75hp 4 stroke but this came in as a sunken motor so I'm not sure how much I'd like to rely on parts from that motor. Age 1997. I've the midsection (no PTT), brackets, hood, powerhead with internals still there (not flushed or anything though). Loads of damage to it where parts have been removed with a hammer!!!!! That's what it did look like
I'd happily give the Honda away just to clear space. It's not a pretty state though. Can send pics if required.
