Wanted: Evinrude Etev G1 (150 V6) lifting ring

Hi, I am after the lifting tool for the 60 degree v6 Etec G1 to either buy, hire, beg or borrow.

I am happy to pay a full item price included shipping from the US as a deposit if someone does have one I can use, it looks like it will take about 6 weeks to get one here from the US, which doesn't fit the timeline.

Can’t remember how I did mine, it’s been a while. I know I didn’t have the correct “tool”. If you can find out what the thread is in the end of the crank, you might be able to pick up a lifting eye online. Failing that, your local fixing suppliers will have a bolt that will fit & you can rig a bracket up.

If the other responders on here can't sort you out, if Crowley marine have stock they will ship to UK in 3-5 days. If I'm right the lifting eye for the 60' V6's is P/N 0342672 (0396748) is for non 60' motors. Sadly it's not a standard threaded lifting eye.

Have you tried South Coast Marine in Christchurch?

Thanks Jon. I spoke to them off the back of your earlier message. They have to get it in, which they said could take a number of weeks unfortunately.

Glad you’re sorted. They were always my “goto” suppliers when I had the Etecs. Mike Vincent is a legend.
