Ex RNLI Mariner (Yamaha) 30hp short shaft £495
I have too many Yamahas - first to go is this-
1985 mariner Yamaha 30Hp two stroke. Short shaft. I bought this off a friend intending to put on a Caesar Surfcat but have never got round to buying a surfcat
It is ex rnli, the fuel drain system has been removed so it's back to standard now. Paintwork is rather tatty but it is in superb mechanical order - I know the history of it since purchased from Barrus in mid 90's. everything works and is nice and free. tiller control.
I have just gone through it and has new plugs, gear oil etc.
Only thing I can fault other than the cosmetics is one of the clamp screw handles has broken off. I would have one of these engines over any modern two or four stroke - These engines built Yamahas reputation in the 70s and 80s in third world countries. I like them so much I have another two of them I'm keeping!
