Free outboard engine to the first person that collects it. This powerful outboard made by Husquanna Albin is probably complete and available in fetching red and white livery.

So does it run - behave

Whats wrong with it - Haven't a clue

Who would want this engine - A student on a limited budget but with hours of spare time and some degree of mechanical engineering - (hmm bit of a holy grail that one)

From where - My back garden in Fareham.

What HP is it?

Is it water cooled or one of the old air cooled jobs?

I've been looking for an old water cooled motor of @7-10HP to chop up for my assult craft.

Want to machine up an adaptor plate to drop the powerhead straight onto the gearbox and mount it inside the AC.

Being unemployed I could be considered more needy than a student!!

Nasher, I think it is water cooled, there is a scoop under the anti ventilation plate which water from the top of the prop would be driven up and another at the back to expell it. HP? best guess is 5hp.

Its yours feel free to pop round and collect it or I could bring it to the next church

Thanks Pete, but it doesn't sound suitable.
5HP isn't really enough, and I need a water pump like a more modern engine.

You should ebay it, say its rare, and someone will bid on it.
