Gardner/laborer/handy man wanted

Initially a weeks worth of outdoor work avalible- straight swop for some RYA courses. Take your pick as to what you would like to do (power, sail or both).

We are totally flexible as to when this is done.

May lead into some more work, painting, anti fouling etc. on same basis.

email me doug@stormforce.biz if interested.

Day skipper? (No prior yachting tickets...) Could this "week" be broken up over the course of a couple of weeks?

So would I just need to take the exam after the prep course?

Doug

If you still need someone come May Half term let me know. Might be free to help if not teaching sailing elsewhere during that week.

I’m pretty flexible and Dayskipper Sail no problem

Assuming you are already a Cruising Instructor the YMI Sail is a 5-day course run by the RYA. Some people choose to do a non assessed prep week with a school like us before attending the RYA week. If you’re a bit rusty on some of the YM stuff this is a pretty good idea. The prep is 5 days and content wise could be described as Yachtmaster Plus. The YMI power is 3 days and the associated prep is 2 days, however there is far less demand for these and accordingly we do not run them very often.

Rich, Half term would work fine, I am just after someone to commit.

OK thanks. I would be after the YMI Power not sail... no previous (RYA) instructor rating...

SDG.
OK, I see form your webiste you already hold Yachtmaster Offshore with commercial endorsement. The next step therfore is to become a Motor Cruising Instructor (or Cruising Instructor Power as it is sometimes known). This is a 2 day course.

This would qualify you to run the Helmsman's and Dayskipper Power Courses and ICC assessments at an RYA Centre.

If you want to discuss in more detail please email me or call. There are a few things to talk through to make sure we are on the right track.
