Gecko helmets are the only B.S.I. approved Marine Safety Helmets in the world.

Using computer aided design the ABS construction provides protection and interaction with existing equipment including dry suit, life jacket etc. The Lightweight grooved design gives excellent strength to weight ratio.

The patented inflatable liner is an integral part of the helmet design. Through an oral valve, the liner has the ability to inflate or deflate accommodating the user’s head size. This system allows the ‘tension of the fit’ to be adjusted according to the situation, resulting in increased comfort, additional buoyancy and improved heat retention.

It looks like there are many people wanting these helmets for fair price.
So maybe GROPON or RIB.net order directly from factory ???
Collect orders from RIB.net members and ask factory if they can sell such quantity for fair price ?

They can have RIB.net logo even ...

no where near that price. I have been buying them as trade from Gecko for many years and exporting them abroad so I should know. I have even sold some to a few fellow members in the UK and abroad

£ 60.00 for MK10 or 11 with long visor, studs, bag, retro tape was a very good price and for sure set for a quick sale as well

I also have doubts that the quantity wanted by rib netters would be significant in terms of quantity say sold to fire police etc.

**But** while I wouldn't be keen in going around with a rib.net logo across my head there **may** be mileage in it! The reason being that 'printed materials' are sometimes VAT exempt. So for instance I can buy 10,000 clear, unprinted zip lock bags for £100+vat at work (unable to reclaim VAT). I can but the same bag with a national standard print (e.g. some warning text saying Hazardous, or store in fridge) on for £110+VAT. But if I put exactly the same words with my logo on it they are VAT exempt, but might cost £115 as smaller overall print run. We don't use many plain clear bags as a result!! Will be an artwork charge for first order. I don't know the rules - our supplier will just say "do you want your logo on - and you can avoid VAT".

Rules are similar in different countries.
I suppose that trick with LOGO is something like "advertising is free of VAT"
In Poland used to some hand made furniture were free of VAT if they have any sculpture on them. They have changed these rules because many factories put some sculpture hidden (some small on the back).

Maybe it be better if we collect or count people willing for these helmets
For example I can buy one or two for very good price

If we know then number maybe it helps to ask supplier.
To be clear. I can live without Gecko helmet.

Just some gadget telling people around that I belong to RIB.net be nice I suppose
