Wanted: Iphone 4/4s

Not really RIB related, but new iphone 5C was dropped into the water and insurance won't pay without physically having the damaged phone which is long gone.

Looking for an iphone 4/4s as can't really stretch to anything newer.

Anyone got one spare?

I just thought i'd try here, bit wary of ebay.

The insurance was a waste of money, I was bit short sighted when it was taken out.

Unfortunately not. It was phones4u cover, now I realise I should have looked for better insurance.

Try The Range, they now stock refurbished and packaged iPhones for a decent price. At least then you will know the provenance of the phone and will has someone to take it back to if you have any issues.

My wife dropped her iPhone4s in the sea and we tried to save it by flushing it out with fresh water then sealing it in a bag full of dry rice.

No good.

Then someone told us to make an appointment at the Apple Store and they took one look at it and exchanged it for a brand new one for £130 no questions asked.

I have an I phone 4 which was a contract upgrade. I've used it a dozen or so times and still hate it so it sits in a drawer at home hardly used. Got the box, charger, a lifeproof case for it (that cost me £25 or so) and all the original junk it came with. It's black. 16GB I think.. but might be 8, I'm away at the minute working, but if you're interested make me an offer and I can get the mrs to post it to you.
