iphone anyone

i have a brand new iphone 3gs 16gb for sale, it's never been turned on, i've opened the box to use the sim card extractor, (flatened paperclip),
i've kept it incase my other one went down but i'm due for an upgrade again so it might as well go.
the big question is what is it worth?

good point John, it's never been registered but it came from vodaphone, although i have a contract with them my number is O2 and has been tranfered to vodaphone, i just put the card in from my old phone and went on line to register, so i'm guessing at this, sim free maybe

I think I got offered £170 from one of them online mobile phone places so uts gotta be worth at least that.

morning as i said to cookee, i'm a vodaphone customer and it came directly from there, it's not stolen or faulty they just supplied me with two so i know it will go on to vodaphone, because i had an o2 contract and i still have the same sim card although i'm now on vodaphone i assume that it's not tied to a network, it has never been plugged into a computer, it still has the packing film on it, none of the chargers or ear phones have been out of the box

I had an iphone 3 (not 3g) on a 2 yr contract. In month 23 I popped in to see what my options were.
They kept the same contract rolling for another 12 months, swopped my 3 for a 4, and gave me £25 out of the till!
10 months time I'll get another one

Neil harvey never got that far, as he found out he can keep his Virgin Mobile number and move his blackberry to that for peanuts, so Biffs iphone is still available...

i've had a look about at prices and checked to see if it's locked, it's locked to vodaphone and i reckon it's worth £275, i've seen them cheap and i've seen them stupid money, i'm in the middle not wishing to diddle

as a footnote i still have two PAYG sim cards, numbers on both cards end in 400 300
