You're quite right.
You'd need a much bigger console and preferably one that's bolted to the deck...............................
................................so it didn't fall off.

Jumping ship
I'll be disembarking at Dundee a week Thursday and then yes I am going to Devon soon after that. I will be on a chuffer (Scotland to Soton which passes through Wolver) next Thursday if you wanr to give it to me I'm running down to Devon a couple of days after I return to Southampton.
I'll do this for Ian for free cos I like 'im. but you(DM) will owe me big time for the opposite reasons. If Ian however do not want it I have an Sr4 hull crying out for one of these
cheers stu

Cracking ( literally) not that it's my bag but I'f it was I'd want to have more take than give unlike DM. I shouldn't get into this kinda post when I'm working my way through a bottle of Remy, but suffice it too say that before the law allowed all sorts of pracices that are abhorrent to me a chuffer was a term that meant a Train!
By the way your seats are in my Mum's ( gawd bless her) garden in Cardiff, if you need the number get it off Ian cos she likes him a lot more than she likes me! It's got something to do with him giving her money for services rendered which she was happy to do for free, but I don't think chuffing had anything to do with it, more like Welsh cakes. ( please don't look that up in your dictionary!)
( i do so wish we had a finger emoicon)

Hi Stu
Let me know when and where in Devon you will be it would be good to catch up with you again, i am realy sorry but thing console is mine, all mine, but have a look at this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Blank-Jockey-C...item27b6b9b097
If you are intrested i will pick one up for you and bring it with me when i collect mine.
Your mum is and was a star and a very nice person, i know were you get it from now
It was not the Welsh cakes, or the warm comfortable bed, the breakfasts and the evening meals, well partly, it was the garlic chips, Ohh those garlic chips.
How could i not hide some money when i left as your mum refused to take any, be nice to your mum she is a diamond, treat her better and PHONE her
Cheers
Ian

yes I think your the sort of Son she always wanted
Problem is as you've set the precedent she'll be expecting some wedge off Dai and we all know he's incapable of parting with money

Stu
I did not set a precedent, i did what i felt was right, she could be my mum anytime and i would look after her and PHONE REGULARLY.
Have you still got my phone number.
I have a old console from a Pacific/Atlantic it needs some work, if you are intrested i could bring it with me when we meet up.
Garlic chips, Garlic chips, Garlic chips, Garlic chips, Garlic chips, Garlic chips, Garlic chips, Garlic chips, did i mention the steak that went with it
