For Sale: Johnson 8hp 4stk 2004 almost as new

Hi all

Selling our Johnson outboard as it's too big to use as an auxy for our little Sr4

We have owned this outboard since 2007 after buying it from a friend who used it solely as an auxy outboard.

We have only ever used it as an auxy outboard also meaning this outboard only has about 10-15 hours on it.

Since we have owned it it has only ever been run up in a bucket of FW purely as an annual test run.

If it wasn't for a few light scratches on the cowling and a scuff mark through one of the Johnson stickers I would have said it was in immaculate condition. Some of the black paint has flaked off one of the prop blades too.

It's currently at our place in France but I go back and forward to the UK on a very regular basis, pretty much twice per month so can drop it off in Portsmouth, Southampton or the New Forest.

I will be heading over to the UK this Wednesday ( 13/11/13) and will be there for two weeks.

Im heading back to the UK this coming Wednesday the 11th of December and as usual can drop it off in Portsmouth or Southampton if needed.

This is now in the back of one of the vans and is in the UK with me.

Don't particularly wish to transport it back to France so looking for around the £500 mark.

Perfect Xmas gift for that wife that (thinks) she has everything!

All sorted now.....

You have to keep your finger held on the message until the delete option appears.

Strange though as I originally spent 10 mins trying exactly that and sweet FA happened....

These mobile phone apps.... They'll never catch on!! ;-)

Hi there

I have a couple 15ltr quicksilver tanks kicking about in the workshop so your welcome to one if you wish.

I don't really wish to post as unless they are mounted on a dedicated transport pallet, outboards don't tend to travel very well.

We (me +Mrs Anchorhandler +Anchorhandler Jr + K9 Anchorhandler) will however be driving up to the northeast on the 30th of December to visit family and could meet you somewhere close to the M1 (j24 or j25) if that's any good?
