Knott Trailer Coupling (Indespension Rollercoaster 7)

I am selling my Knott KRV20 1300 - 2000kg trailer coupling that fits 80mm box section drawbar from my Indespension Roller Coaster trailer. It has a triplelock head on it for which I only have 1 key, spare keys can be purchased from Indespension - I have the key code.

This is a used item - has light surface corrosion, the damper may need replacing. Excludes jockey wheel.

Its still a perfectly useable coupling and was in use until last week.

Asking £70 - new these are £230

I will need to check my box section size but will be interested if it is correct.

Hi please be aware my box section trailer draw bar measures 70mm square away from the hitch but indespension weld 5mm plates on either side at the hitch location and the hitch needs to be 80mm square.

On previous trailers its simply been the same size box the whole length of the draw bar

Very sneaky way for indespension to increase the capacity of the trailer while keeping the weight and cost down!

Sorry not been able to look yet. Our trailer is not Indespension but I think it's around that size. What needs doing with the damper - often it's not economical to repair them?

Daniel - have sent you a PM

AJ Stars - I'm not sure if it is the damper at fault or just poorly set up brakes on the trailer. Lately I've noticed the trailer jolts the car when pulling away after coming to a stop.

The dampers are easy to change and cheap - £43 for the correct one for this hitch from Ebay

KNOTT AVONRIDE TRAILER DAMPER 87001109 1300KG - 2000kg - IFOR WILLIAMS P00373 | eBay

I've just replaced everything on the trailer with new - complete hitch assembly, brake cable for threaded bar and brakes. Don't know what was at fault didn't really bother to look too closely. The hitch is fine as far as I'm aware - I was mostly concerned I only had 1 key for it.
