What have you got out there???

Looking for a longshaft 40-70hp outboard with a tiller.

I originally thought it was short but it's definitely longshaft this boat.

Tiller or an easy conversion would be much more suitable. £1000 for the right engine no more

Reckon you're looking at EBay or Gumtree for that kinda money Craig.

Yamaha did a sweet 3 cylinder 40V (2-stroke of course) with a substantial tiller but they still command a premium. Yamaha 50hp, we'll go luck. Nigh impossible to find now unless it's been dug out of a peat bog.

40hp, not brilliant for my needs but beggars cant be choosers
