looking for a cheap trailer

1300kg trailer wanted to put a 5.5 metre rib on while I remove the engine then sell what remains on so must be roadworthy. cash waiting

that looks a bargain but the add says suitable for boats up to 4.8 mtr so not really long enough

Might be worth getting the tape measure out, the length rating is likely for a hard hull boat where you dont have tubes overhanging front & back you might find the trailer will be ok for a larger rib where it only needs support the actual hull

1300kg, that’s a heavy RIB. My SR5.4 and 75hp outboard only weigh in about 500kg

really are you sure ?? with fuel battery's anchor chain and all the kit plus weight of the trailer . I know mine isn't that low even without weighing it .

it might be immaterial anyway I have been approached by someone who wants to come and buy the valiant without trailer makes me think im selling too cheap but im getting out of it with what I need so hey ho
