Marine Ply wanted
Anyone in the Pompey area have a 6' x 4' sheet of 12 or 15 mm Marine Ply hanging around they would like to turn into a small amount of cash?
Need to replace my Jockey and bench seat bases and get rid of the awful external hinges on the jockeys that I'm fed up with bruising the insides of my legs on.
Thanks
Nasher.

Birch Ply
B & Q have 18mm birch ply which is really nice to use and far better than any of the other ply that they sell. I think its about £35 a sheet 8' x 4'. Don't know if its good to use around water though...

Marine Ply
Nasher
If you've got a local branch of Silvermans near you they nearly always have a wide variety of marine ply at good prices ... just checked on line and they have branches in either Poole or Andover (bit of a trek either way).

If you happen to passing by I should still be able to get 18mm marine ply for £25 per 6x4 sheet. Somewhat cheaper than the £60ish per sheet Jewsons charge...

Yep. It's not unlimited amounts though-just the odd sheet here and there from a company that makes pallets/packing cases and it's cash only so if someone wants enough to build a boat with then look elsewhere.

I just realised quite how dodgy that looks!
It's not stolen-it's a cash sale by the company in question but they hold limited stocks. It's for their own use as well hence not buying loads at once or they may run out.

I've got a small piece slightly ireggular in size that'll make a 240x450 base. Nearly threw it out this weekend. Free if you can use it.
