Mariner 25hp 2 Stroke Long Shaft Outboard £575
I bought this outboard 3 years ago for my 4m SIB and have used it on holiday for two weeks every summer and a few river trips in the UK. It was serviced after I bought it and also converted from remote to tiller steering with a brand new tiller arm. The engine was serviced again in august this year including a new impeller and plugs.
The outboard is fitted with electric start but it needs a new starter button, I always use the pull start to save carrying a battery anyway. I always flush the engine after use and it is stored in a dry garage in the winter. Cosmetically the outboard could do with some tidying, the cowl has been painted and is scratched and there is some bubbling paint on the leg along with a small chip, mechanically the outboard is sound and very reliable.
I'm only selling due to an upgrade to a 40hp (that I think might be a mistake as I can't lift it on my own)
The engine is available for collection or maybe delivery*locally.
