Mariner 30hp short shaft manual start 2 stroke outboard engine, manufactured in 1998. Great condition throughout. Fitted with new spark plugs, fuel line, primer bulb and fuel connector. Manual pull start (starts easily from cold by hand), tiller arm throttle and steering and manual gear change.Comes with nearly new tank. Completely ready to go, just bolt on to the back of your transom. Viewing and running demonstration welcome, lying West Midlands.

Any idea what it weighs? I'm after a 4 stroke but at that price I'm very tempted!

Edit: Should have read properly. It's tiller. I need one on remotes! Bargain for someone.

Is it? I've got a 30 and want (need ) a 40. Heard many stories. What's the real one?

Hi just checked on an exploded diagram, its not as easy to convert as rumoured, from a brief look reeds and carburettor are different according to a mariner parts list.
