Will be changing the engine on my Rib in the next few weeks and will have a Mariner 40HP (6E9) 2 stroke Long shaft for sale. These are a very reliable engine that were made by Yamaha and badged as a Mariner. It has been a very reliable engine that hasn't been used that much. The people we bought the boat from had it in a garage and used it a few times a year before us. It starts and runs well. I'm only changing it as I can't use a pull start any more due numerous operations on my hand. Engine located in the RG8 area of Reading. Open to sensible offers.
