Mariner Marathon 40hp 2-Stroke Long shaft/tiller/pull start/manual tilt.
Very good condition, dry stored in my garage. I bought this lightly used with a full service from a dealer (Paul Hopwood) in January 2012, and living in Warwick have added less than 5 hours.
I have used it on an ex-army 5 metre aluminium assault boat and really it's a bit much! My auxilliary is an 8hp and that pushes it along nicely at hull speed which is still too fast for the Avon speed limit...
Excellent compression (c130psi-virtually identical on both cylinders with Snapon gauge). Some marks on cowl, superficial corrosion on tilt tube, scuffs on prop and skeg has a slight bend. Starts and runs very well, genuine quicksilver tank and line included.
