Mercury 6hp Four Stroke
I have for sale a Mercury 6hp, four stroke. It is about eight years old and, I believe a long shaft. It has forward, neutral and reverse gears.
I bought it about four years ago. It had been a spare on a sailing boat and had never been used. I stored it until earlier this year. It was then serviced and we found that the running in oil was still in it! I had to have a bearing replaced in the lower unit since it had got very tight.
Since then it has done maybe two hours.
I can provide a 20 litre can, if required.
The engine is, in my opinion immaculate for its age. It starts first time, every time.
It is ideal for use as an auxiliary on a rib.
I am looking for offers from anyone who can give it a good home.
