Mercury 6hp Long Shaft

I need to clear out the garage. This engine has been in my posession for about four years. It was a spare engine on a sailing boat and was virtually unused when I got it. I carried it on the rib for a while and then put it in the garage. It has been serviced about a year ago and since then, run for about half an hour.

It takes a remote tank and is a super little engine in really great condition.

Anyone want to give it a good home??

Make me an offer!

It's worth 450 according to those who know.

I will take £400. Includes tank but needs fuel coupling.

Now go ahead and take the mick!

no not going to take the mick!

that actualy sounds a good price and about right for the outboard.

if I was you I would put it on for that price with no offers on some free ad sites
like gumtree-vivastreet-preloved- ect
should sell easy this time of year but would fly out if you had a little rib to put it on ?

I know it's not ideal but what happens if you put a long shaft on a small sib, thats designed for normal/short shafts? Will it be under-powered by the extra water pressure & not work aswell?

So have the Yam 275 with the short shaft Yam 4.0.

The Mercury is ideal as a Rib auxiliary.
