History:
I bought a Ribtec 585 from the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth recently and it was fitted with a twin 75 set up. Unfortunately the twin engine set up wasn't what we wanted and we now have got a single 150 waiting to go on for the season.
I bought the boat and engines knowing it had been used very sparingly in and around Plymouth, washed out after use, serviced regularly etc.(I used to work on some boats in the same marina as it so it was easy to see how often it was used!)
The engine has been well looked after and is in a very good condition. It starts first time, every time. Tony Hole Marine in Plymouth did the last service on it.
The 75hp is based on the 90hp (different size carbs being the only difference)and these two engines are considered pretty indestructible.
Included in the price is;
The outboard engine(!)
Instruction manual,
Gear cables,
Throttle cables,
Throttle box,
Stainless OEM propeller,
Wiring Loom,
Keys,
and the
Kill cord.
The boat is currently in Plymouth but it will be moving to London in the coming weeks for the 150 to be fitted.
If you want any pictures or have any questions please telephone or email me and I can sort it out for you. I have no problems arranging for the engine to be run up for propective buyers.
Thanks for looking.
